2006 Dinner & Show Fund Raiser
September 17th is rapidly approaching.
This year, to whet the palate, our event will open with a variety
of sumptuous hors d'oeuvres accompanied by wine and beer.
Dinner, including wines furnished by BV Vineyards,
will be prepared by Jeff Boutiller of "The City Cafe", and paid for by John Cassidy.
After dinner, the cast of "I love You, You Are Perfect, Now Change"
will perform a special encore performance.
Desert and coffee will be served during intermission.
All this for a tax deductable donation of $75.00 per person.
It is sure to be a wonderful evening for all in attendance.

Childrens Summer Camp
had two sold out performances of our Children's Theater production.
Thank you to Michael Campbell, Renee DeGarmo and Noah Gillett
for doing a fabulous job with directing the children! Also, thank you to
John Elliott and Sherry Fancher for helping manage the house on Friday and Saturday night.
And thank you to all of you who were able to make it.
If you didn't make it, some of the highlights you missed were the Sun kicking the Moon's butt,
Clementine giving her husband Hiram what for (serious attitude),
kids getting treats from Peter Cottontail, a magical giftbox,
a young girl playing 4 completely different characters in the Falcon and
making her stage debut!!!, a very mature, impressive production of The Falcon,
and a captivated audience of 2-10 year olds laughing and loving theater!
helped create a "Wonderland of Fun" at the 2006 Yuba-Sutter Fair.
Volunteers dressed as Fairytale characters including Alice in Wonderland,
Mother Goose, the Frog Prince, Snow White's dwarfs, and Cinderella
and greeted fairgoers, especially the littlest ones.
After the characters strolled the grounds meeting young fans,
The Acting Company put on a show called "Once Upon A Time"
on the Pepsi Stage and entertained young audiences with a story of the Frog Prince.
The show was written and directed by John Trent,
Acting Company Board Member.
Special thank you to our volunteers Joe Moye, Jessica DaSilva,
Kathi Siteman, Mike Pugh, Staci Johnson, Carmen Smith, Brandon Graham, Dana Trent,
Holly Trent, and David Pena for helping make a wonderland come to life at the Yuba-Sutter Fair.
