Rehearsal times are Monday-Thursday 5:30-6:45. Some characters will not be required to be at every rehearsal, except for Tech Week: April 4-7th, when we run the whole show.
Prince Bash is supposed to take after his father King Olaf’s evil footsteps – which is kind of hard to do considering he loves chamomile tea, lavender bubble baths, cute animal calendars and, well…not being mean. Navigating through pixie school and and making his way into a super secret evil recovery group (Pixies Opposing Oppressive Policies), he must decide whether “following tradition” is all it’s cracked up to be.
In no particular order. All characters are pixies – but don’t confuse “pixies” with fairies – pixies are feisty things and love mischief and pranks! Well, at least most of them do.
Singing Pixies – Children to preteen. A group of musical pixies that sing little fun, evil songs in between scenes. *Be prepared to sing your ABC’s or Twinkle Twinkle Little Star*
Prince Bash – Preteen to mid teens. Is the black sheep in his family, desires to do good and not follow in the evil traditions that his family expects of him.
Princess Trixie – Child to preteen. Ridiculously evil but absolutely adorable – looks are definitely deceiving. Can look like an absolute angel when, in reality, she’s up to no good.
Queen Maeve – 15-19 in appearance. Loves both her children unconditionally, but is passively evil.
King Olaf – 15-19 in appearance. Over-the-top, dramatic and VERY full of himself – he wants nothing more than for his son to follow in his evil footsteps and will go to great lengths to make it happen.
Ivan the Spy – Preteen-18 in appearance. Works for the king and queen and does their bidding – has a vampiric-like/Transylvanian accent. Loves evil things but has to pretend – unconvincingly – that he is good to gain the trust of the prince.
Priscilla/Percy – Child to preteen. Can be boy or girl. Suck-up to the teacher of the class, high-and-mighty, believes the teacher can do no wrong – very know-it-all.
Otis/Ottilie – Child to preteen. Can be boy or girl. Class clown in the class, loves practical jokes and mischief amuses them.
Gus/Gertie – Child to preteen. Can be boy or girl. Very skittish and out of place in the class – is absolutely terrified of all of the “evil pixie stuff” that goes on.
Silas/Syla – Child to teen. Can be boy or girl. In the secret “evil recovery group” because they are afraid that they love evil things just a little bit too much.
Lula – Child to teen. In the secret “evil recovery group.” Lula loves LOVE. She loves goodness, she loves woodland creatures, and she loves you. Develops a little crush on Ivan the Spy.
Prudence – Child to teen. In the secret “evil recovery group.” She has been messed with too many times and as a result is not trusting of others and a little rough around the edges (do NOT cross into her personal bubble), but she means well.
Elodie – Mid-to-late teens. Teacher’s assistant in the classroom as well as leader of the secret “evil recovery group.” Tries to be serious but is a little awkward.
